- Wash pots, pans, and trays and silverware
- Segregate and remove trash and place it in the designated containers
- Sweep and mop floors; wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift
- Walk the floors and pick up any room service/bar trays
- Maintain temperature logs; keep walk-in cooler/freezer organized
- Help line cooks properly prep, store, and date food
- Previous knowledge of food service regulations preferred
- Skilled with the use of hand tools or machines needed for the position
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
- Able to stand for extended periods of time

BEGINNINGS
The first Southerleigh restaurant, Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery, was launched by renowned Chef Jeff Balfour in April 2015. Located in the heart of one of the most valuable and recognizable modern-day developments in the U.S. called “Pearl”, based on its late-1800’s start as a beer production facility and now the jewel of the food scene in San Antonio, Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery, quickly became the recipe of success preparing smart exceptional comfort food and sought-after hand-crafted beers. As the cornerstone successful restaurant and brewery of the 18-acre property, local and national visitors alike were elated that once again, beer was flowing from the taps and the livelihood of the Southerleigh atmosphere was in full swing.
With a fanatical obsession for connecting people with fun, memorable dining experiences, and an indisputable knack for finding the right up and coming locations, the Southerleigh Restaurant family continued to grow.
In August 2019, Southerleigh announced plans to expand by replicating the successful blueprint to more locations in San Antonio. With the original restaurant and brewery in the heart of downtown San Antonio, new gathering places were selected in the northern and southern districts of the city. The new concept, Southerleigh Haute South, will open its doors in September 2020 with its first location in one in the fastest-growing commerce, life, and leisure destination in the northwest part of San Antonio known as the RIM. That friendly community location will be home to the leading fried chicken fine-casual dining experience.
SOUTHERLEIGH HAUTE SOUTH CONCEPT
Southerleigh Haute South is a fine casual restaurant concept that will provide brunch, lunch, dinner, take-out, and delivery with initial locations in San Antonio, Texas. Southerleigh Haute South will feature a menu based on Southern-style food including fried chicken, biscuits, and an oyster bar, paired with local Southerleigh craft beers. The restaurant will also feature a full bar.
Fine Casual Segment:
A fine casual restaurant does not offer full table service, but advertises higher quality food than fast food restaurants. It is an intermediate concept between fast food and casual dining, and usually priced accordingly.
Criteria:
Food: Made fresh for the customer
Pricing: Higher than Fast food / Lower than table service restaurant
Environment: Very pleasant and comfortable. Upholstered booths and low-key lighting that encourages diners to linger.
